Super Junior To Celebrate 7th Anniversary With New Photo Book

Super Junior will be releasing a new photo book, "Super Junior Boys in City Season 4", on November 6th to celebrate their 7th anniversary.

The photo book will feature photos taken in Paris while they held a solo concert there back in April. In addition to the photos, the book will contain written passages from the group's members about their thoughts on their debut,Leeteuk's enlistments and the friendship they've developed from being in a group together.

The photo book will come in 2 version: regular edition and limited edition. The regular edition comes with the photo book, a book of postcards and a poster. The limited edition will also come with a diary and DVD showing behind the scenes footage from the making of the photo book.

Due to Super Junior's popularity across Asia, "Super Junior Boys in City Season 4" will be released in China, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand on the same day it is released in South Korea, allowing international fans the chance to celebrate their 7th anniversary with them.

Teaser image revealed for INFINITE Sunggyu

INFINITE‘s Sunggyu will be debuting as a solo artist!

The boy group’s official website, after releasing several hints about the leader’s solo debut, has finally revealed an official teaser image for the leader’s first solo performance.The newly-revealed photo seems to confirm his solo debut, rumors which had stemmed from a mysterious image that had been released previously. It appears that his solo debut will be titled “Another Me”, raising expectations about how the INFINITE member will be able to grow as an independent artist.

Psy and Super Junior Nominated for MTV Awards!

Both Psy and Super Junior have been nominated for 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards!
Psy’s “Gangnam Style” fever shows no signs of letting up. He is nominated for arguably the biggest category of the night, “Best Video“. He will go head-to-head with the mega-stars of the moment, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, M.I.A, and Rihanna. This is a tremendous achievement, aside from being the only male in the Best Video category, “Gangnam Style” is the only non-English song in the running.
Super Junior is nominated under the “Best Asian Act” category. Recall that Big Bang was nominated under the “World Wide Act Asia Pacific Nominees” category eventually winning ‘Best Worldwide Act‘ at last year’s awards.
It looks like Asian music is being more and more recognized everyday. Rather than just a subcategory of the ‘Worldwide Act’ category. This year, the EMAs have added ‘Best Asian Act’ as a seperate and distinct category. The other nominated Asian acts include, Japan’s EXILE, China’s Hangeng (a former member of Super Junior), Taiwan’s Jolin Tsai, and Malaysia’s Yuna.

It's not the Language!

Well, many might think that K-pop is that good to listen to because it is of an other language. But, guess what those people are so wrong about this. K-pop songs might be really hard to understand but the are truly very good to listen to.
Every band has talent, it is not just their voices but also their dancing skills that amaze one so much. Each band member works together and are always willing to solve their co members problems. 

For, those who hate K-pop, all I can say is that You Guys Really Don't know what You Are Missing!!!
I know the difference cause I have heard both Hollywood and K-pop.
I can only say that Hollywood is good but K-pop is better. No offence, maybe it is just because I love K-pop more. But, I still go with the fact everyone has different likes and dislikes.

Rule of K-pop!

K-pop is a musical genre consisting of dance, electronic,electropop, hip hop, and R&B music originating in South Korea. In addition to music, K-pop has grown into a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults around the world.

Although in a bigger scope K-pop may include other genres of "popular music" within South Korea, outside of the country the term is more commonly used for songs sung by Korean teen idols, which covers mostly dance, electronic, rap, hip-hop, and R&B genres. Starting in 1992, dance and rap music became popular due to Seo Taiji & Boys, which is seen by many as the beginning of modern K-pop. Genres such as ballad and rock are still popular today; however, the term can be debatable.

With the rise of social media networks during the mid 2000s, the ability of K-pop to reach a previously inaccessible audience via the Internet is driving a shift in the exposure and popularity of the genre. The Korean Wave has spread K-pop to the Pacific Rim, the Americas, Eurasia, and North Africa.
